Introduction to Commercial Banking
A fully self-paced digital learning experience designed to help learners understand the core principles of commercial banking in a practical, interactive way. Through a game-based simulation, participants explore real-world banking scenarios, make strategic decisions, and receive tailored feedback
The Commercial Banking project gave me the opportunity to create a digital, game-based learning experience that helps learners build confidence in understanding how commercial banking works. I designed and developed the entire module with the goal of transforming a dense, technical subject into something intuitive and engaging—something learners could explore at their own pace, independently, and with genuine enjoyment.

At the heart of the experience is a digital simulation in which learners step into the shoes of a commercial banker. Rather than passively reading about concepts like client needs, risk evaluation, lending decisions, and profitability, learners do the work themselves: assessing businesses, choosing actions, navigating challenges, and experiencing the consequences of their decisions. I crafted the narrative flow, interaction design, and decision pathways to ensure that every choice feels meaningful and closely tied to real-world banking logic.
Because the module is completely self-paced, I designed the interface and instructional elements to guide learners naturally through the journey. This included creating clear explanations, contextual prompts, branching scenarios, and dynamic feedback that adapts to the learner’s path. Each interaction is intentional—helping learners understand why a decision matters and how it aligns with commercial banking principles.
The final product is a polished, self-paced digital game that brings commercial banking concepts to life through exploration and practice. By blending thoughtful instructional design with engaging game mechanics, the experience supports deeper understanding and builds real-world confidence—making complex concepts accessible, memorable, and genuinely enjoyable to learn.
